Whats new Pete. A sad way of life I'm afraid.

Emergency services lured in to areas to be set up. Ambulance/paramedics robbed of drugs and equipment. Fire brigade stoned. Police facing usual scum. Soldiers shot by cowards. usually by youths who's parents are as low life as them.

They were Muslims protesting with placards. It was a welcome home parade from Basra.

The placards were calling them murderers. It is only in England that this would be allowed, where are all the bleeding hearts when this happens, they are quick to jump on the bandwagon for everyone else.

I watched this on our local news last evening. It was an absolute disgrace!! Apparently, in good old Blighty, everyone has the "right to demonstrate". I couldn't help but wonder in which other country this type of behaviour would be tolerated. Whether or not you agree with the war in Iraq is neither here nor there, the fact is that these men and women risked their lives and to come home to such an appalling debacle such as this was downright insulting, to say the least.

Like everything else the silent majority puts up with this nonsense.

Our boys in the army do as they are ordered and are doing a fantastic job.

Hello guys,

This will always be a sensitive subject, however i hope most members would agree we need to give our support to our young men and women who are in the armed services, they are not politicians.

So yes tiggy thank you i am proud of my son Ian,he is a lance corporal in the REME a mechanic in fact.He is off to Canada next week on tank maneuvers.

And yes i am proud of my nephew,he is a corporal in the signals,he is only 24

has complete 2 tours of duty in Iraq,1 in Afghanistan, and 1 in sierra Leone.

And yes i am proud off my daughter who is a qualified solicitor, who is joining the army as an officer this month.

How dare those Muslim protesters treat our young people in that way.

REGARDS TO ALL PETE

I looked at them and wondered, quite wrongly of course, how many of you are on benefits, how many of you would dare demonstrate in your native land if it's not the UK, if you don't like it in the UK why don't you leave, who wound you up to go out and demonstrate in the first place, are you a suicide bomber in the making?

Politicians start wars, not soldiers.

The General public in the main do not give a toss one way or the other, and most could not tell you the background to the Iraq or Afghanistan conflicts. If their little Johnny is involved, they may have a general idea where the two places are, and thats about it.

Been there, done that!!

When we were in Bridlington last year the Yorkshire Regiment were given a civic reception by the Council on their return from Afghanistan. The crowds who lined the streets in the pouring rain (no demonstrators there!) watching the parade through town made me feel proud. Any squaddie who came into the pub didn't have to put his hand in his pocket to buy a drink. The northeners must have a different outlook from those down south.

Luton was the place where the London Tube & Bus bombers started their journey.

Most peolpe because of the PC minister (no one know's who) are afraid to comment on these subjects. As said if you do not like a place why go to it ???

Certainly if I was a muslim and did not like my country of origin, I would go to another neighbouring country (if allowed) and be amongst my own people.

Why do so many come to this Island??? Clearly the majority do not mix with others and no go areas are now common.

Many of our lads are defending these peoples lands from the new age terror. The ones that were on the march should be offered a one way ticket home.

I am not a racist, just telling it as it is.

Dam shame that these brave and loyal young men have to return to a country that allows a voice from the enemy within to protest. I'd have these bearded scroungers on the next plane back to the gutters of there origin, minus their tongues and genitals as no doubt would happen if they acted in this way in there own back yard. Its time the UK realised that this multicultural iflux is a timebomb waiting to explode the sooner the problem is confronted and action is taken against the radical element the better.

I was intrigued by one of the photographs showing the female Muslim protesters at the march through Luton.

Msg 18,

"Rivers of Blood"?

Sounds familiar!

Perhaps it will happen if people keep saying it...

The security services should take the opportunity to arrest all the demonstrators drive them to the airport and put them on a plane to Afghanistan.

Seems a waste not to when they have all gathered in the one place!

Msg 15 quote "The northeners must have a different outlook from those down south."

If you had watched the footage carefully you would have seen that the crowd would have ripped these protesters to shreds, if the police had not got between them. Why try to make this a North / South divide thing.

There is one village down south where the citizens regularly turn out to line the streets for repatriations. (Wooten Basset, Wiltshire).

The protestors numbered less than 20, a tiny proportion of muslims serving in the British military, let alone muslims as a whole.

teatime - well said. The (very large) majority of people in Luton, including the Muslim population, were interviewed on our local East Anglia news this evening, and their reaction was of disgust and bitter disappointment at the small minority's behaviour towards the service men/women. Here in Bury St Edmunds we also honour our servicemen/women, both alive and dead. This is nothing to do with North/South.

In todays Mirror it says one of the protesters with a placard works at Luton airport as a baggage handler! A white 18 year old and a 45 year old were arrested for shouting abuse at the protesters and have been charged with aggravated harassment and have to appear in court on 18th March. No Muslim protesters were arrested but Bedfordshire police say they are reviewing the CCTV images!

It's despicable behaviour that should not be allowed. Shame on the Government.

Its a pity we do not have a Prime minister like they have in OZ.He has told the Muslim population of his country in cold clear language that Australia is a christian country and it will stay that way and there will be noShia law for muslims in Australia. They can have there religion and traditions butthey Will Abide by Australian Laws.If they do not like these rules they can leave when ever thay choose, because no one asked them to come here(Australia)Sounds like my sort of man...

Just watching the funeral of sapper Mark Quinsey, and sapper Patrick Azimcar murdered in Northern Ireland. Thankfully there are no Islamic extremist's in sight with banners declaring our boys are cowards,as they so shamelessly did in luton.

Rest in Peace xxx
