The Clarets came back from 2 down to batter Palace to pieces last night. The Eagles couldn't compete with the second half onslaught from Burnley and caved in in the last 10 minutes ! The lads have played more games than any other team in England and still were too strong for Palace towards the end of the game. We are now in the play-offs........bring on Forest !

Goonerstan,you appear to be a little myopic ! We have beaten far better teams than Arsenal this season....carry on struggling in the Premiership,and lets hope you win the Champions league(not likely after scraping the last one 7-6 on penalties) because Villa look favourite for the 4th spot to me.

Our 13000 (average gait) make more noise and atmosphere than 100000 from the "library"(Emirates)

Goonerstan....you have been in the Champions league many times.......yet still to win it I think! Thats none out of how many attempts ? Carling Cup......2-0 to the Clarets,I believe.......and before you say it.....you can only beat the team in front of you.....and we did desrevedly ! We may still be a small town team,but have a large proportion of our populus supporting us through thick and thin. That cannot be said for the "good-time Charlies" at the "library"......ssssshhhhhhhhh......did I hear a pin drop?

Yes.....you are wrong again.....I have been to the library,last weekend as a matter of fact.The ladies toilets at Turf Moor make more noise than the "Gooner fans",according to reports ! Nice ground...........moon-like atmosphere,except for the Vlares ......of course.....we sang for 90 minutes......you ang for 90 seconds......shhhhhhhhhhhhh...pins dropping agin!

Goonerstan doesn't appear to know that when I said we dished out Capital punishment,Arsenal were just one of the many. The Goonerscertainly were not up there with the better teams from London,whom we have beaten this season.

30 years & counting .. Can't hold a candle to Blackburns honours .. Never won the 4th division title .. Never been there & wouldn't brag about had it happened ..

You always get dumped out by such luminaries as Rosenborgs etc in the preliminary rounds......the Clarets last got to the quarter finals of the same competition,just different name.When we played it was for Champions however......not second raters from Ewood!

Just for the record .. We were dumped out by Trellesborg .. Beat Rosenberg 4.1 thanks to a Mike Newell hat trick .. No preliminary rounds, we were there as Premiership champions straight in the "Champions league"... EUFA cup a few times ... Been there !. Seen it !. Done it !. Got the T-shirt ..

You wasn't even born when Burnley were in Europe ..

Talk about going further, we went to Russia how far did the clarets go ???

Tinker....you went to Russia and came home with nowt after that little gay...Le Saux,and Nora Batty were swinging handbags at each other,on the pitch.Like I said we have been to the quarter finals of UEFA's premier competition......you have beaten only second or third rate Norwegian teams....and got nowhere near. How did you get on with Coventry this season.....you'll be playing them next! Premiership here we come!

Couldn't beat Coventry in a month of Sundays .. Like it is 30 years & counting since Burnley beat Blackburn .. Should the improbable happen then we will pass each other again at the end of next season , as we did with Manchester City .. Playing the "big boys" week in week out is a far cry from your achievements this season playing their reserves, rephrase that to fringe players .. 30 years & counting ..

Not long now though Tinker......I smell the blood of a Barstewards fan.Once you are down,your club is finished for the rest of all time! You no longer have the financial clout of a rich man to back you,and the club has been up for sale for nearly 2 years.....you are going to have to give it away! Once that Premiership money has dried up,the Walker Trust will too and "pop" goes the bubble.I can see the Condors circling above Ewood..........with banners trailing behind them........"staying down forever"

Won't shed a lot of tears .. Kilby hasn't enough money to keep the dingles in the Premiership should they happen to get pushed up .. His mistress spends most of it (friend of my sister) ..

My allegience now is with Bellapais or Ozankoy .. Cant wait for them to get into Europe ..

Been on Cyprus too long never heard of him .. Everyone heard about "Uncle Jack" .. Will he be prepared to put his money where his mouth is like Jack did .. Because if he did he'd lose a lot more than Jack Walker .. Plus getting the best players to sign for a mining village team will be no mean feat in itself
