I’ve lived in Karsiyaka for 8 Months now, lack of opportunity and ignorance of areas have meant no rods in water as of yet.

Was delighted to see the possibility of a carp angling club starting.

Attended the inaugural meeting met some very nice people with differing views and techniques of carp fishing, Pole, Float, ledger, day fishing, leisure fishing, match fishing and session fishing. Not all appeals to me but each to their own and it is nice to get together and talk.

I target fish and spend a lot of hours, days maybe even weeks trying to catch them.

At the meeting one angler commented that there are no specimen carp in NC which means ill have my work cut out proving otherwise.

My search for the specimens will start today 12th at Arkapoy only viewing.

On the 18th several from first meeting will be going to Arkapoy plus one other, over the next couple of months hope to Reccee several more and see for myself what’s actually out there.

Im more than happy to invest in to a carp lake in the trnc, i think it would really take off as a lot of people have done france and spain and the way i look at it the trnc would be a whole new experience. any investers wish to give it a go.
