Hello everybody,have only today come across cyprus44 and must say how impressed I am with the forum. For some time I have tried to find out current info on N.Cyprus without much joy. Anyway,I hope to contribute from time to time. Can anybody tell me if there is a regular meeting place for ex pats in the Bahceli area?

From the Girne end so not very familiar with your neck of the woods but there are many on this forum who know the area well so I'm sure they will respond to your post and give you loads of useful info about events going off in Bahceli.

Hi Ossie

Welcome. I am not aware of any actually in Bachelli as yet but people do tend to meet up at Alkan's (on the main road, just after the turning for Esentepe), Esentepe Villa Hotel (on the hill up to Esentepe) and Rosie's Bar (just as you enter the Village after the Esentepe Restaurant on the right hand side).

Thanks for replies,look forward to keeping in touch. Will be coming over 1st Feb and will be at my pad from then onwards. Actually I was there most of 2007 and have temp.residency but haven't met many ex pats to socialise with. Perhaps this forum will be the stepping stone needed!
