Hi, I have recently joined the Cyprus 44 forum and have taken some time to look through the postings. I have found it very informative and friendly.



My name ia Arthur and my wifes name is Ann. We have purchased an apartment at Chelsey Village in Arapkoy. I would be happy to provide any information to anyone thinking of buying on the village.



I travel a lot in my job but will try and join into the conversations as much as I can. Would love to hear from anyone who has purchased at Chelsey Village.

Hi,

Thanks to everyone for the nice welcome. I will try and answer your questions in one go!



I have been reassured by YPD that Mr Abramavich has nothing to do with Chelsey Village whatsoever. From what I hear, he has possibly acquired some land nearer to Bogaz but nothing has been announce officially on that one.



Chelsey Village is in the hills right next to the village of Arapkoy. If you are heading up the mountain road past the cut off for Esentepe, it’s the next turning on the left. A little mountain road that I certainly wouldn’t like to walk with a drink in me



Our apartment is complete now and I have just booked flights for 11th April to come over and finalise everything. We were out in early December to carryout the final snagging. Boy did we enjoy some wicked rain...



The village is coming on well. I have visited on a number of occasions and taken numerous pictures of the progress. Always good to look back on. We are planning to rent it out, hopefully on a long term basis.



Maybe some of you could advise me on furniture! Is it best to deal through the developer or do your own thing?

Hi Arty

I'd say do your own thing. It should be cheaper as the developer will have added his mark up to anything he supplies. If you get your own you will be sure to buy what you like and also you can barter with the shop for the best price.
