Well done to Liverpool yesterday but you scousers need to look at the bigger picture. Its not just about beating the english, champions, european an world champions. There are other teams in the league as well that have to be beaten if you are to win the premier league for the first time. But well done on yesterday, Paul.

Let's be honest.. most of us like to see a good game of footie and favour the "under dog". Liverpool where losing 1-0 and seemed out of it, and most of us assumed "gave over"... It's great that the Premier League has dealt a twist ( unless you are a Man U fan.. ) Arsenal seem to be coming on form, too, and have yet to get two key players fit.. ( isn't Arsahvin great to watch?) Best bit of data on MotD .. did anyone se the mini league of how the "top four" teams have performed against each other..? Liverpool WAY out in front .. By the way .. I'm a Leeds Utd supporter and it pains me to admit we can only dream of playing Man U ... instead of "celebrating" beating Swindon .. just..

Lots of variants of this story but apparently it originates with Dixie Dean from the thirties, anyway I digress... Dixie was the first big time soccer player to gt himself a big time car. Arriving at the ground a little kid comes up and asks him for a bob to look after his car while he's playing. Dixie tells him the car will look after itself, besides there's a rottweiler in the car that will do a better job than him? Kid answers... puts out fires does it? Kid got his bob Any other good togger stories? Regards Joseph

Yo Clayton, Sorry mate I am at work and have been out on visits. Did not realise you were putting a question to me. "Soap dodger" is a term from my Arsenal mates. Im a Norf Londoner and a Chelsea fan. Been t o the old "Old Trafford" many times in the 70' & 80' and some of the early 90' Mum and dad were married in Moss Side in 1952 and I still have two aunties and cousins in East Didsbury and Chorlton cum Hardy.....mainly utd fans. So I know all about Manchester! Lighten up a little with the swear words and Paddy! George Best.....ronaldo would not lace his boots.

George Best.....ronaldo would not lace his boots Don't know about that... the amount of time this guy spends diving he could lace the boots of half the opposition Joking aside... Best was not only a class act, he was honest and probably took far more hatchet jobs from far more tougher players in his day. Cannot recall the guy ever taking a dive, in fact chop him down and he was straight up again... usually with the ball as well... Class. Compare that to Pedersen's dive yesterday v Arsenal... unbelievable... and yet it goes unpunished. Why are these guys protected when they cheat? Regards Joseph

Clayton, just to give you my football cv.Life long Villa fan ,live 15 mins from the ground ,watched them as a boy with my dad in the Holte end , even when we were in the 3rd division ,getting 30,000 breaking all attendance records. Not a fair weather fan or a glory hunter ,believe football fans should be postcode orientated not passport. Have the program and Argus sports paper from the 1957 FA Cup final where we beat you 2-1 ,my dad and his friend missed one game and as such hadnt enough vouchers for their tickets for the final so they wrote to the then Villa chairmen enclosing a cheque for tickets ,optimistically. My dad received a hand written reply from the chairman thanking him for his continued support, two complemetary tickets ,his cheque returned and an embossed souvenier guide and ticket, which i still have. How the face of football has changed !
