A very kind person on one of the bulletin boards asked if there was anything that they could bring from the UK to help the SOS project families. The committee have now spoken to Nuket who runs the project and they are in need of the items listed. If anyone has any spare luggage space and would like to help please PM me.

Boys shoes (school type) or BLACK trainers sizes 29,32,35,38

Disposable Nappies

Trainer pants

White vests all children's sizes

Baby gro's (all sizes up to age 5)

As you will appreciate, a pack of vests for instance is very cheap in the UK if bought from Asda/Tesco for example.

A huge thankyou to all the people who have already brought things over from UK.

Nuket has just informed me that these items are also needed:-

white trainers size 37.....4 pairs

" " size 27 euro size 14

White tennis shorts and tee shirts for boys aged 6 years and 9 years.

Thankyou once again for your support

Hi Simbas,

they need all sizes, especially the largest ones. To be honest all sizes are welcome. Yes the duvets will be greatfully received, as you can imagine, after

a very short time over here, they will get faded anyway.

Thankyou so much,

xx

if you give me a call on 0533 839 9122 when you get here, I'll arrange to meet you at yor convenience.

xx

I'm going to ask Izzet to do a sticky on this because it is a worthwhile cause. Anyone who is coming over please try and bring a couple of items. They are not that expensive.

We have ason aged 6, would be happy to bring out all of his old clothes which just get put into the loft out of the way. Also have re-usable nappies. The ones that can be washed and used again. Would they be of any use? Otherwise will buy dispossable ones. We are out in May is that to late?

Hi Griffin,

your son's clothes would be very welcome.

As for nappies, i think that some of mothers here don't have electricity, let alone a washing machine, but i certainly won't turn them down!!!!!!

There may be a few that can make use of them, thankyou.

No, May won't be too late, they are always having new families joining the project.

Thankyou once again, and thank you all for your help.
