Does anybody know of a B&O dealer in North Cyprus or someone who might have a good knowledge of the brand and electronics.



Iam bringing all my B&O equipment over from uk and would be an advantage to meet anyone that knows the brand.



There are dealers in the south but they all GC's.



Ps does anybody here also share an interest in Bang & Olufsen.

My oh thinks they are state of the art - he sent ours away to be repaired (in UK) - the repair man went bankrupt, and we never got out B&O back :(

I was trying to say that it comes with lots of complications by having to deal with a company in the south.



Ie, call out charges, customs and warrenties etc.

I hardly think "customs" will charge you for a repair - esp. if you point out to them you are taking it "out" and "back"...

What is it you need? It sounds to me as if there is nothing wrong with your B&O gear but you may need someone to install it in your new property.



I know many UK-based AV installers - some working across several countries - so there's a good chance I can locate the information or contacts you are looking for.

Croft. Thanks for you msg. You have hit the nail on the head for what im looking for. Do you know Sykes B&O In lincoln, sheffield, leicester and manchester? I have a very good personal relationship with Jeff sykes and both Gavin and Herbbie his son's who both sold B&O Equip to one of the founders of SONY CORP in Japan in 1986.



Im looking for b&o support if i have any problems in trnc?

I've a good knowledge of the product.



Whats your personal view of b&o?

IT "may be", Audio.. I'm not a hi-fi ."buff" .. I know more about who B&O buy their constituent parts from and how they operate - as a good friend was in involved in their marketing...



Sounds like Croft is "your man" ..



If it is support you need.. you'll normally find a "junior" employee at a B&O franchise who will come out as they love their job - and it's a hobby ! ;)
