And he didn't report it to The Sun, it was seen and it was at his feet not in his face. Also see Skysports web page. Why was Fabregas on the pitch anyway. Frogs do spit Paul, never seen it hanging of your grass early morning ?

dodger, i cant condone anyone spitting, if thats what happened , just becuse an accusation is made dosnt mean it happened, as for saying you were robbed you didnt have a shot on target second half accept it you, were beaten by a better team, now you can concentrate on trying to avoid relegation .

dodger, i dont have an answer to that, footballers spit all the time, must be inbreed in them , maybe he spat on floor and horton thought it was meant for him, fabergast is not known as a spitter unlike diouf , now if that was the case i would totally agree with you, unless they go back to the pitch take d.n.a of the offending gob there is little that can be done, unless we replay the match (LOL)

claret, firstly nothing personal was intended, failing to spot someone spitting , and then question, ing his abilty to find talented youngsters cos of his so called visual impairment maybe if your maneger had the same impairment you would not be in the championship, after watching the thrashing we gave you the other night i just question your abilty to spot talent cos there was very little to be seen from your lot, as for it takes one to know one maybe, if you cannot take you should not give, have a pleasent evening may your god go with you.

Stan,I can both give and take! Our manager has already materminded the fate of numerous Premiership sides this season, the 2-0 thrashing of the Goooners at Turf Moor being just one of many.He has a canny knack of spotting talent, like Mr Whinger, and given time it will lead us and him to the Premiership. He does it on a much reduced budget, however, and is therefore, arguably, doing a finer job than "I did not see it"

Crikey Stan I`m getting worried about you. Where`s your sense of humour gone mate? The Gallas "goal" was well offside. Hull in comparison to Dial Square are a small club. And Burnley deservedly beat your mob at Turf Moor. Lighten up!

Last night a big club played a small but growing club and the big club escaped by the skin of their teeth and progressed to the semi-finals of the f.a.cup.The second goal by the big club was clearly off-side and shouldnt have counted and there should have been a replay at our humble abode. What happened afterwards on the pitch and in the tunnel was absoluteley disgraceful and i hope there is a full enquiry into the alledged incidents. If it is found that the captain of Arsenal did spit at the feet of Brian Horton then i hope that the f.a. throw the book at him. Sptting is the lowest of the low and not acceptable no matter what. Its time that these type of morons were put in line about there behaviour.I understand that the Arsenal captain comes with a bit of previous regarding an incident with Michael Ballack, Paul.

Stan,Burnley may be a small town......not a village, but you have certainly got the smallest mind on this thread. \as Newscoop says-lighten-up! If all Arsenal fans are like you , no wonder the Emirates is a bloody library on matchdays. Whinger put his best team out according to him,at Turf Moor, and you ended up getting rogered by the "village people"

Clarets, It is well known where I come from that most Arsenal Fans are known as "Melon heads" Inflated egos. I have a soft spot for them seeing I was born and lived on a couple of miles from Highbury. Roll on the semi final! I remenber Adam Blacklaw the goalie. Have memories of Burnley.....first game I ever watched and they beat us 1-3 the Bridge.

dodger, the ballack/ fab incident resulted in a f.a enquiry no action taken, did ballack report and accuse i dont think so , so why rake up something that didnt happen 4 yrs ago your accesment of whether gallast goal was offside is debatable, but the fact,s are it was given , in the tunnel afterwards as you state alledged incident , so why not give it a rest, accept you were beaten by a better side

Stan, Looks like it is being raked up again (ballack) in the tabloids.I hope they throw the book at him if found guilty.Bigger news then rafa signing a new deal.We where beaten by a better side but you seem to be missing the point. My argument is about the alledged spitting incident.

Fan do pay very good money to watch Premiership football. It was evident from the first five minuets of the game. Hull had a midfield of five players and were blatantly time wasting…..this is what riled the Arsenal fans and management. Regarding the alleged spitting Brown and Horton had conflicting stories of where the event actually took place? Hull players said they saw it…..the Arsenal players did not. No third party has come forward to say they saw the incident either on the pitch or in the tunnel….so at the moment impasse? In my opinion Arsenal do waste time. At least they keep the ball on the pitch and play beautiful football. AP

Nige. A good result for Burnley at TM in the Arsenal reserves cup. At least Arsenal did not time waste? It was a different result for Arsenal at the Emirates in the FA cup. I think it was 3-0. At least Burnley came to play and a very good game it was with no time wasting from your team AP

Dodger. According to the Daily Mail Thursday March 19th. There are no CCTV cameras in the tunnel area and the match officials failed to monitor the area. According to the paper the referee and match officials rushed to their room to avoid protests from the Hull players and management. The referees report to the FA makes no mention of the spitting incident. According to the paper it could be the Hull manager who is hauled up to answer for his rants on TV AP

I was at the game on Tuesday night, I can only say that Phil Brown must be the melon head. He claimed Arsen Wenger got his keeper booked and from thenHull had to change tactics. Hull were blatently time wasting as soon as they scored, the keeper was booked for taking an age preparing to take a free kick, then walking offf and telling one of his defenders to take it. Some tactic Mr Brown. The ref added 5 minutes injury time due to Hull's tactics. 6 Hull players booked. 4 for time wasting. He claims Frabrces spat at Mr Horton, then retracted that and now states he spat TOWARDS Mr Horton's feet. He claims Arsen Wenger refused to shake hands, yet yesterday's Sun had a picture of them doing just that. He lost. Get over it. Hull shouldn't have been there anyway following the 'phamtom goal' against Sheffield Utd I think Mr Brown knows he is a man that will soon be looking for another job. Whatever happens at least the premiership will not have the pleasure of this idiot next season

Eh up Stan, I have posted today so dont know what your talking about there matey boy. There is a bit of difference in having a barney with another manager.Compared to spitting at someones feet.Maybe its a spanish custom,i dont know. Our Ces in my opinion is a bad apple and as the captain should set a better example and shouldnt have been staring it up on the pitch as well as in the dressing room. The incident with Ballack was glossed over i sincerely hope this one isnt, Paul.

Dodger His credibility was shot away when he said Wenger wouldn't shake hands - he did. He said Wenger got his keeper booked - the keeper only got himself booked. He said Frabrecas spat in Mr Horton's face, then said it was at his feet, then it was 'towards' his feet. Cesc absolutely denies it. I know which one I believe Anyway, onwards and upwards, Gooners have bigger fish to fry! It was a cup game - there can only be one winner

Brown has lost the plot !! decent managers don't show thereselves and their club up by punching the air in the directors box He made a right prat of himself !! He has had his good little run now it's time for him to show his management skills . He should be concentrating on Hulls efforts to stay in the top flight not making up fantasy stories to take the heat off his poor management at the top level. Why does he keep in constant touch with Horton through that ridiculous thing hanging round his neck ?? What can Horton do ? Advice him ? he hasn't got the best track record has he !! Remember Luton and Brighton ! If Brown can't manage the job on his own then why doesn't he get Horton to sit on the bench and whisper in his ear !! Or is the bench a bit too low for Horton !! Welcome to the BIG League little boys !!

Arry You are correct Brown is an oik! On Arsenal TV last night it was reported when Brown was in the stands he was not concentrating on the match. Most of his time spent there was handing out stick to the fans around him. Another heavy fine is coming Hull’s way 6 booked during the match. How many of the Hull players spat when walking away after the ref booked them? AP

To all you hull city fans, firstly re the spitgate affair i dont think we will know until after the seasons finished, arsenal have sent in there reply to the allegation, the sad plight of your team should, i think be more of a concern to your club, but as with most things when in dire straits you try to distract away from the real problem, ie your manager who in my opinion has compleatly lost the dressing room, and dosnt deserve the team that he,s got, no man manegment skills whatsoever i think you will get relegated for that reason , but its a funny old game so we will have to wait

Gooner, Wont Arsenal have to enter the competition in a "round robin" type stage hasnt the format changed slightly for next year.I know the final will be played on a Saturday night.aAs for Hull City i never expected anything else but relegation from a small club from the end of the M62.at least we have a good rugby league team.Your team play some great stuff mate but need a few older heads in there to direct operations, Paul.

newlad, yer the format has changed you could now get drawn against anyone , you spot on about gooners we do need some older experienced heads, watched the clarets v reading game last night, stunning first goal if they make the premership they wont get that amount of space in midfield but you have to give credit the better team won

Hi AJ, One of us is "swimming against the tide".. you DO seem to be trying to overly influence threads with your personal viewpoints and deleting stuff you disagree with - football is a popular game ... ;) Cracking game last night - feel sorry for Steve Coppell - a Gentleman ...
