general practioner in Girne area

hello,a few weeks ago one of the writers in the Cyprus Today newspaper wrote that he had been to a gp in Girne. he said she spoke very good English and had recently come from England to Cyprus.He didn't give any details about her so i was wondering if anyone on this forum knows how to contact her. I have been to a very nice Dr who came here from UK last year I think. Her name is Dr Silem 0533 8328772 she has a surgery at the Green Hospital which is down on the left the road opposite Molly's.

Dr. Meyrem (Mirian) is a Doctor/Surgeon not a GP

she speaks perfect English and is a wonderful doctor and a dear friend who I would highly recommend

Hi yes it is the Green Hospital, go past the state hospital towards Catalkoy, when you see the Bellapais Road on your right with a grocers shop on the corner go a few more yards then turn left it is down there on the left.

Hi, I'm getting confused now, isn't a GP a doctor. Girne says she goes to a GP called Dr Meyrem, then Sheila says she's a Doctor not a GP. I know I'm getting on but.........................

Hi

I have not hesitation at all in recommending Dr. Silem Ozdenkci at the Green Clinic in Girne. She is UK trained and qualified, and does general practice as well as specialising in heart/blood disorders. We have consulted her on several occasions for different ailments and always found her to be very thorough and knowledgeable, and also extremely helpful and reassuring.

Directions to the Green Clinic from Pia Bella roundabout heading towards town, take the 2nd turning (I think) on the right past the Pia Bella hotel. There is a sign post on the corner where you turn which you can't miss. The clinic is about half way down that road on your left.

May be worth mentioning also that her colleague at the Green Clinic is Dr Necmi Bayrakta. He is a fully qualified and experienced Urologist with an excellent reputation. Very friendly and approachable also.

I think the article you may have been refering to was on Mr Fixits page in the Cyprus Today. I did get in touch with the paper and asked them for the doctors details but have now lost the email with her name on but have her phone number if this is of any help.

I did mention Dr Silem in my Mr Fixit article in Cyprus Today. They were not able to put the number in resulting in dozens of call and emails requesting her number.She is at Green Clinic and as per another posting her number is 0533 832 8772
