Nigel was using multiple member profiles for the last few months and they were all banned on the forum, as per Rule 1.



After we emailed back and forth yesterday, he promised not to use multiple names and will try to be more careful in your future postings.



So, he is back.

I've already banned all members who has multiple logins, except a very few which I allowed before. Those do not hide themselves and do not use their multiple accounts to create trouble anyway.



We know employ a bunch of things including [deleted as per security reason]



So, it is much easier and accurate for us to detect these people.

Being totally unbiased, to allow ANY people to have multiple accounts is not acceptable.



Why does an individual request multiple accounts other than to be mischievious.



I would suggest that by accepting one but not another suggests bias, you cannot state categorically who is going to be a trouble maker. Indeed some mutiple account holders may be benificial, but at whose bidding.



Therefore if you continue to accept multiple accounts, in my opinion you are by default bringing your own forum into disrepute. You either accept single accounts or multiple accounts otherwise Izett you make yourself an unreliable administrator.

With all due respect, you do not know half of what goes on behind the scenes. I would suggest you take your concerns off board. We have had time consuming and major battles with certain people that feel as though it is their right to post whatever they want, however they want and whenever they want. We have our reasons for dealing with certain posters and ignoring others. There is only so much we can do collectively timewise so others that have multiple personas but do not cause problems do not attract our attention.

I hope you understand the situation.
