Has anyone used either The Yasam hospital in Famagusta or The Etik Hospital in Nicosia?

hi doyen

a friend of ours had a heart problem last weekend.

went to lefkosa they couldn't treat him for a week and wanted loads of money.

his family took him over to the south to an american hospital in nicosia, who saw him asap and wasn't as expensive as here.

his brother is a different type of dr here and they are tc's but for the best treatment they went south.

to our suprise!

Fire starter, that's strange because I heard these two hospitals were very good.

I know of several people who have used the hospital in Famagusta and have nothing but praise for it.

One had a heart attack, one had a back problem and the others had several other different problems.

Hi,

had a consultation with the Radiologist / Sonologist at Etik hospital - referred from the visiting Oncology professor at the State hospital - I was perfectly happy with him.

Keith.

A friend of ours just had a stroke and was taken to Leftkosia, the family were not happy at him being there and was transfered to famagusta. They told me that they have better care and state of the art equipment. He is being treated by a doctor from Turkey whom the have complet faith in which they say they couldnt put any faith in the other hospital. Most wealthy TCs I know go for treatment on the south side. Its strange to me that they have more faith there.

my sisters ex had a back op in the famagusta hospital.

a month after he was still unwell and they needed to operate again hence another bill.

the dr just left him suffering because he didn't have anymore money they had already cleared him out. when i found out he needed another op, to fix the first op mess.

we just paid his bill.

he is now back in the uk waiting for a specialist, to see what has been going on, but they sure didn't fix the problem and were paid massive amounts of money to do so.
