Well, at least one "English" team will make the semis ;)

and L'pool and Man U "avoid" each other - for now ..

Methinks game D will eliminate one of the two toughest non English" teams ..

Game A - a chance for "revenge" for the Spaniards?....

Tough question for all Man U ...Liverpool... Arsenal... and Chelsea fans

How many English born players play regularly for your team, (12 or more games) just out of interest?

As an Evertonian I know Liverpool have Gerard and Carragher... 2

Man U... I think have... Brown... Scholes ... Rooney... Neville... Ferdinand... 5

Nor sure about Arsenal and Chelsea and I might have got above list wrong?

What about Carrick and don't forget Gigg's who play's for Wales but born in England.United look a good bet for the final Porto then Arsenal or Villareal....look's like an easy route to the final!

Hi Jimmy,

Purposely didn';t include Giggs ( my fav man u player) because I think he was born in Cardiff/Wales and although he played for England schoolboys he chose to play for Wales as a senior.

Missed Carrick, good spot, so Man U can boast 6 English players?

So Liverpool 2... Man U ... 6

Come on you Arsenal and Chelsea fans what is your tally... out of interest?

I wonder if Giggsy ever regret's not choosing to play for England as he would probably have ended up there most capped player.

Lampard and Terry for Chelsea

Can't think of any for Arsenal

Hi Jimmy...

What only and I wonder if... two great thoughts... but at the end of the day the player would probably look back on his career and be grateful for his good fortune and probably not change a thing... Giggsy could well be the most honoured player in current premiership re medals won etc?

Remember years ago they used to wonder the same about George Best and if he had played for England etc etc

Great players... both

I agree with Man Utd to reach the final..... but it's difficult to split the 4 team's in the other half of the draw

Fergie could not have asked for a better draw!!!

As a true Man Utd follower with a hint of admiration for Arsene Wenger I jump to his defence with Theo Walcott althogh he is still out injured.
