I see from last week's Cyprus Today (we get it a week late in the UK) that a local has been charged with raping a goat in Karaoglanoglu. Apparently his mobile was found in the goat's pen and when confronted he said he was drunk at the time. What I can't understand is how they managed to get proof that the goat did not consent to this little tryst as otherwise it could hardly be classed as rape, though a sordid little escapade all the same, especially as the accused is apparently married with three kids (excuse the pun).

I suppose his defence was he showed the goat love and affection and fed it,so he thought it was ok to take the relationship further.

I wonder who had been making a call while the act took place,the owner or the goat ???
