Msg 11

Hardly dim given he was editor of The Spectator for so long.

Eccentric certainly, off-his-rocker perhaps, but no idiot our Boris.

The Wicks msg 16...When i offered up Jerusalem as an idea there was no mention of wanting party songs, only something to play on St Georges day.

eager - sorry, you misunderstood my message. I personally think "Jerusalem" is a wonderful song and, to me, represents England and (possibly) St George. The point I was trying to make was that I was gobsmacked that someone actually thought it was a "party song". I thought, obviously naively, that everyone knew "Jerusalem" for what it actually is.

Kind regards.

I would question what right the emporium the Grumpy Grouse has to play English music and the audacity to celebrate anything English.

Everybody knows it is it is a meeting place for conspiring Scots and undercover haggis eating.
