Oh yes they certainly do. In spite of the credit crunch/recession/national debt etc we have actually managed to sell our house in the UK, yippeeeeeee.

We can now look forward to moving over to TRNC and enjoy all the things we love about the place. It has been a long time coming but at last we can achieve our dream, I am one very happy lady and nobody, but nobody will put a damper on that.

Thanks Folks for all your good wishes, we are still on cloud nine as yet but I'm sure we will come down to earth.

Yes Jo, you took the photo of the potato if I remember right, it's come on a long way since then thank goodness.

Pat, as for when we move, hopefully in the next 6 or 7 weeks, all we have to do now is pack 40+ years of marriage into cardboard boxes, that will be a job and a half.

Hatti - when I do eventually get to go, it will hopefully (definitely) be the trip of a lifetime! I've always regretted not going when they were offering the £10.00 trip because they were desparate for emigrants. My son is this time going with his girlfriend and they are hoping to find an opening to settle there permanently. I don't blame them one little bit - "if I had my time over", etc. etc.



Please keep in touch - I know you're not off until the end of the year and will hopefully meet up before then.
