| Hi Mike My Son bought me a Dyson hand held hoover which has so much suction with a long nozzle that its great for all the creepy things off ceilings For patio furniture I know this sounds silly but I bought a 3 inch wallpaper brush which is great for cleaning all outside furniture and then just wash under the tap, also good for balcony railings Sheila |

| At the risk of sounding a bit girlie, I agree the vacuum cleaner is the best bet. For one thing, if you're not too keen on spiders, you'd probably prefer them inside the machine than dropping on your head! |
