Hi all,

Pleasantly surprised this morning to find a lovely big and welcoming double page spread about northern cyprus in the mail on sunday (daily mail) travel supplement pages 28-29!

Go read and also at the bottom of the page they have asked people to tell them what they think about north cyprus the e-mail address is

http://www.travelmail.co.uk/your holidays!!

So all those who have some positive stories about NC better start writing before they get bombarded by aggressive Gs and their negative responses to this article- so I would get writing about the great things about the North!!!!

Take care-enjoy- D

I ried the site but not available - probably millions using internet on Sunday. I will try until I can get through. When I recommend NC I will also say that they will probably get a lot of adverse comments from GC, just to make them aware. Please can I also ask other people who recommend to also mention this to make sure they understand.

Thanks

I can get into this site but there's nowhere on site site where one can comment on holidays in North Cyprus?

Have you managed to put a post on this site?

Not done it myself but the way is:

Click on "share your experience" half way down page

Select Cyprus from "select a country" and press NEXT (don't try to find a resort)

Then write

Hope this helps.

Letters page in this weeks Mail on Sunday fro Acting High Commissioner for Cyprus. Did the readers of the Mail on Sunday know 43,000 Turkish troops are stationed in the north along with 100,000 Turkish settlers. You can stay in a hotel in the north 84% of which belong to Greek Cypriots. Or you can visit the 500 Greek Cypriots enclaved in the Karpasia region of the north, these being the last remaining out of the 20,000 that stayed behind after 1974.

Twaddle.
