I hope someone can help me. I am going to UK tomorrow and need to use my mobile phone for an alarm. Does anybody know if the time on a mobile phone will automatically go forward 1 hour? I have moved it forward manually now (as I am off to bed) but am worried that if it changes automatically I will be an hour late! Please does anybody know?

Thanks Blackpoolfan. Mine is Nokia too so I will assume it moves automatically. Better to wake an hour early than an hour late.

As far as I know at hotel rooms you can set the alarm through the telephone exchange of the hotel. Hence there is only one time to set even if the hotel has over a thousand room. ismet

a few year back hubby was staying at the ship. they told him his flight and transfer times had change to a later time. then they woke him up in the middle of the night and told him he had about 10 mins to be ready. they made a mistake but lucky he had packed the night before.

Well my Nokia phone didn't automatically change the time even though I went into settings and told it to! Luckily enough we had 2 phones and the other one was ok. Coachie, the clocks go forward in TRNC too!!
