hi alano

i do know in the uk they are earning about 120 a day.

here they want to charge much more, which we found out when we had some quotes. we will do it ourselves rather than pay stupid rates.

just so you are aware!

Alan use the one we had he was excellent, you can come and see the work he did for us ...he had to put right our bathroom wall after it was fekked up by Tony, one of overpriced neighbours...

Highly recomend a guy named Eddie. Did our "Cyprus damp" plastering. Soo happy with his work that we are now using him and his partner to build our patio extention

Ignore that alan I just asked him and he said no lol..does sound like you have damp coming in somewhere and that needs to be addressed as well..maybe you should wait till you get here and then you and kev can find out why you have damp.

I wrote about damp in my Mr Fixit article in Cyprus Today this week. In every case you must address the source of damp before drying out the damp area completely. Only then can you make good. There are some very good damp sealers in Marshalls but if you do not cure the damp at source you will have an annual ritual to perform!

Ventilation is very important and can make a big diference, it seems flats suffer more from damp/mould probably because they have a smaller cubic capacity than villas.
