Oxford retain the trophy after quite an exciting race. They came close to colliding on a few occasions but eventually the stronger Oxford wereto much for the light blues..The reserve Oxford team beat the Cambridge team for a great double..

I had the pleasure of listening to Sir Matthew Pinsent a few weeks ago at a company presentation and let me tell you the "technical" stuff that goes on in that sport is something else.......total dedication from these boys.

Not a big fan of rowing but total respect from me.

rowed as a lad until i crunched my back, comp school then club, son is now rowing, very social sport (henley) as well as demanding if you reach the top, maybe that why we brits are quite good at it. not a bad boat race, doggy start very quick attention go! being clashed from behind is worse as finnish can catch, fair result once oxford rowed as a crew and not as a few individuals and some crew.
