Ref to TRNC vaughan.

The systems are wire free except for the mains power for the control panel and the transformer for the external bell box if you have one.

It signals by use of the GSM network and sends text messages upto 8 different mobile numbers.

The system can be controlled by either remote keypad, remote control fob or by text messages from your mobile phone.

The system consists of control panel, remote keypad, 2 fobs, 3 pirs, 1 door contact, internal sounder, 1 years maintenance (2 maintenance visits with battery changes).

Cost for system £750Stg

We can also supply monitoring and alarm response.

What Billy the, "Catalkoykid" 's spoiler doesn't take into account is the cost of delivery to TRNC, the import tax and duties and kdv etc.

Not to mention the cost of running a business here!

The cost of these systems seems quite high compared to the one advertised in the link supplied by catalkoykid, but as stated we have to pay import and tax. There is also the matter that they will be maintained and serviced also for the first year.

These systems are also a way to automate your home with various extra add on's, switching on outside lights by sending a text for instance.

İ have a friend in Girne who installs Visonic wireless alarms (these are used by British Telecom in the UK but under the BT brand). He also installs cameras as well. The equipment he uses is not cheap chinese hence it works when it has too. İ have had it installed in my house and we have smoke detectors connected to it as well. İt wıll also call us if the alarm goes off. İf anyone is interested İ wıll provide his number.

Just had Martin at Lambousa Securtiy fit this system to my home, completely wireless no cables anywhere, alerts me worldwide and my friends back in cyprus to check on the house. They remotely check the system every day, Awesome service and a completely easy foolproof system to operate. Can't recommend highly enough, well worth having especially now adays with the recent break-ins reported in the newspapers.

Hello Gordon,

I need wireless cameras with pictures send by 3G wireless internet, so I can see the pictures in Europe at home? I know Linksys had some of these cameras, do you think it could work? Tx
