Me again

This question is to all that are living out there, we all know that fruit and vegetables are available anywhere and in abundance and the market in Girne is a popular place to get these. What i want to know is where do you all shop for your meat im sure there must be places that are a lot cheaper than the supermarkets. Your ideas please sounds a stupid question but i want to know where the locals go

only joking jacko

to tell you the truth meat can be quite expensive in the supermarkets your best bet is to go in to the villiage and find your local kasap (butcher) it will be cheaper than the supermarket

i dont know where your local kasap in your village is but im sure there will be one

hi jacko

i just could not help myself!!!!!

you will defo find a 'kasap' in your local village to tell you the truth thou i dont know your villiage too well, youre best bet is when you are there just look at the butchers where the local cypriots go you wont go wrong with that, you dont have to go all the way to girne, if all else fails lemar or astros are quite good quality but can be quite expensive

hope this helps

Hi jacko,

The best butcher in the TRNC in my opinion is in Ozonkoy, you can get everything there. Beef, Pork, Lamb and sausages. The shop is immaculate and the staff helpful and friendly.
