Okay so i've waited nearly 11 months for mains connection(and i live on a main rd), but i now have a 'floating earth'.( voltage jumps from 240 - 1000!!). LCD TV, home cinema kit etc have all gone pop and Kibtec dont seem interested, any ideas?

Thank you

Ouch!!

What did Kibtek tell?

You should not connect your valuables until you sort this out.

Go thru a voltage regulator for you lcd. i do that for my plasma.

If Kibtek doesnt help, go public and even sue them - it's time we start seeing this kind of action, especially with the encouragement of British peope.

from 240V to 1000B and they said they are AWARE of the the problem.. ughhh! that can only happen in north cyprus!

i have an xbox too and i went to Tektan to get a RGB convertor in order to get HD quality.. they couldn't help me at all!

Do you know what Tektan did to fix them? I'm curious coz I still have some stuff that doesn't go thru my UPS.

How much did the voltage regulators cost?

Thank you for the info

İ think that the voltage regulators were around the 30 Pound mark(My developer paid for them), sorry but i dont know what they done to fix the problem but it was quite a relief after hearing a pop and smoke pouring out of nearly 2.5k's worth of kit.

As for the RGB convertor give these a try; Megaland, 8 Diagoras Ave,Nicosia(on the one way system, this end of Makarious Ave). http://www.megaland.com.

Good selection of XBOX, PS2 and PSP games too
