Looking at some of the 'negative' comments that were in some of the threads, it's hardly surprising that it wasn't posted (until now that is)

I agree, it was a spectacle (if a Funeral should be described as such) with thousands along the route and outside the Church

i am upset with the whole thing.

i was christened in the same church and went to school nextdoor as a young child.

what a circus for a respectable area. the locals must have been very upset.

what connection if any did she have with the area? she didn't live there and wasn't from there so why be buried there?

Firestarter - 'A circus' - you are below contempt - where was she buried? Do you even know - without Googling it?

Jade was not racist..stupid yes, ignorant yes, but that is down to her dreadful mother who dragged her up through a drug hazed dreadful childhood and taught her absolutely nothing..she was not encouraged to do anything other than be an ill educated loudmouth..she did well to drag herself out of her dreadful life and become something.. and she was an excellent mother.

dee

i have had many friends who as you put it were dragged up whilst their parents were on drugs. along with the many of those who were not so lucky and didn't make it.

there is still no excuse you can make for her racism.

or her being buried in the same church as my grandad who i will add was from the area.

The rights or wrongs of what people have or haven't done in their lives, you can't go back in time nor can you go foward, just minute by minute. Jade died of a very young age, she has a family that has been left behind. Every anniversary, birthday, mothers day, christmas, easter, there school reports, there acheivements and falls, her children will not be able to hold there mam and take congratulations.

So I am sorry, remember this. If she was a murdering child abusive druggy, this could be a reason for you to make comments about her being laid to rest in the same grounds as your grand father.

BUT SHE WASN'T

SHE WAS A LOVING MAM!!!!! GET A GRIP...............

Jade Goody, Britain's biggest reality TV star, was Saturday buried near her village home in southeast England on Saturday in one last public moment after a celebrity life lived out in front of television cameras.

Thousands of people lined the streets and many others watched the funeral on giant television screens erected outside St John's Church in Buckhurst Hill, close to Goody's home in Upshire.

She was buried in the nearby Epping forest along with photographs of her two young sons. There were 350 people inside the church and 2,000 outside.

I fully agree Bonibom...also Jade was mixed race herself..this needs to be remembered...RIP Jade knowing your sons are loved and cared for, with hopefully little interference from her dreadfully racist mother.

fire starter

the reason the funeral took place in Buckhurst is that

Buckhurst is the home of her husband.

He's a criminal as far as i know,

does'nt say much for your respectable area !

well done Jade.

She was like marmite, you either loved her or hated her, and we are all entitled to an opinion regarding the coverage of her death and subsequent funeral.

The point is, she wasn't buried in that Church!

While the funeral, like the last seven years of Goody's life, was played out in public, the burial afterwards, at an undisclosed spot believed to be in Epping Forest, was a private occasion for close family and friends.

Typical remarks from some of the sad people on this board . Jade Goody love her or hate her is dead. She doesn't deserve to be slaggged off by low lifes like you firestarter . Crawl back in the gutter where you belong.

We should count ourselves lucky that we are all alive , and that our families have still got us . This young mother has died and whatever we think or don't think is irrelevant . Life is precious , we do'nt have to be at each others throats , just be thankful that we are here , Jade has'nt got that choice .

Regards , Simbas

RE msg 10, fire_starter > there is still no excuse you can make for her being buried in the same church as my grandad who i will add was from the area. <

===> It is always stimulating to read how christians love each other. Does this church have its own special god for the area, specialised in granddads?

Aside from being mixed race herself, Jade's perceived racism wasn't anything more than very careful editing from the TV company - Shilpa was just as offensive in her attitude to Jade - Jade was all she could be, given her dysfunctional inadequate upbringing and education, Shilpa, having had a blessed life from day one, was/is manipulative, patronising, away with the fairies (anyone remember her asking someone to pick something up, as she didn't touch whatever the article was, on that particular day - pathetic). Jade was a wonderful mother in as much as she recognised her strengths and weaknesses, and has used what guile she had, to leave her sons solvent and able to have the advantage of the 'best' education possible, ergo, to fulfil whatever their potential may be. I disagree with them not being at the funeral, whilst the rest of the world was in some context or other - as they mature, they will question why they were denied that closure - it was an erroneous decision in my opinion

Whoa there people some very uncalled for remarks against Firestarter who was merely stating her opinion without being rude to anybody. Something that cannot be said for some of you. Shame on you.
