hi can anyone tell where they sell travel cots / playpen in nc please ? and do you happen to know if car rental firms provide baby seats or would you have to buy one

Hi Simbas

It depends on which airline you use but most do not charge for travel cots if traveling with a baby, if they do the baby is allowed its own allowance we use that and If your family is like mine I get to take the grandchildrens bits in my case.

we have done it 5-6 times never been charged.

hi i wanted to buy a cot over there and leave it there, but there didnt seem much sense in buying a car seat because she'll only be there a couple of times a year, but i will certainly try girne .

Simbas if you do decide to rent a cot there is a company in the Buzz Book - think it is http://www.buzzbook.com - google it if this doesnt work - but anyway shows up lots of shops and I know there was a company on there that hired all baby equipment etc. There was a company called "WotnoCot" but I can't see it on there anymore but I do know there is another company - have a look anyway - hope it helps

Theres a place in the Buzz book - Willow Baby Equipment Hire - Gilly 0533 866 3615 or 0533 848 8953 - it doesnt say where they are but they hire out everything - travel cots, play pens, car seats, push and high chairs.
