Does anyone know if F1 is shown on any of the Nilesat channels this year? Last year was on JSC sports 1 or 2, but not shown yesterday. Also no Five live commentary on BFBS radio either. Hubby was very disappointed.

Dear Sunnyday,

I'm sorry you husband missed out. There have been many threads on here showing how to listen on five live or view in live in English.

1/ VPN route - you pay a monthly / six monthly / annual fee for a UK IP adress and you'll be able to listen on five live . I offer a free trial of my service, but I'm not the only company offering such a deal.

2/ Satellite Route - one fits a "small" 1.8m offset dish -and using a SKY receiver - you don't need a card, one can watch the f1 on BBC interactive.

If you want to know more - send me an email address - it's in my profile.

3/. Showtime don't have f1 rights

It was back on TRT1 yesterday, and I had the radio 5 commentary via BFBS (95.3). Good race!

I know it's a bit late but I found the Monaco Grand Prix live on Bahrain TV on Nilesat this afternoon. However the commentary was in Arabic. Worth trying for the next one.

It was also on TF1 (French commentary) and LTV (Greek commentary) on Hotbird and on TRT1 (Turkish commentary) on Turksat and all these channels show every race.

Has anyone found F1 in English on Hotbird or Nilesat?

Got a Sky Box, no card though.

Not got a "small" 1.8m offset dish, yet :-(

F1 is also shown on RTL on Hotbird. Commentary is in German but you get the drift.

Hi Navek!

IF you took out ANY package.. they start from 16 GBP you'd also get More 4, E4, film 4, on top of any package channels you'd have requested

Hi, strictly speaking you get free channels that are on Astra 2D.. SKY News is going pay.. so soon only SKY THREE will be the only Sky channel available for nought - if you have a Freesat from SKY FTV card - at 20 GBP -.

Please note BBC / ITV / C4 are free, and five is available on a 1.8m with a FTV card from SKY, and via 10773 H 22.o 5/6 on a 4.2m in Cyprus

cost.. *I* recommend Iceman

http://www.skycyprus.com

He would do a survey and quote accordingly
