disposing an unwanted tv

What is the right way to get rid of an wanted tv? Our landlord says we should just leave it near the green trash in containers but it doesn't like the right way to dispose of it as it may have toxic or/and un bio gradable materials . Maybe some one can use it for parts or salvage it as it still displays a hazy image it's a tousnec brand, if someone thinks they can make use of it they are welcome to take it

put it by the bin and sure sign it will go. it's exactly what i did and it wasn't there 2 mins when a van pulled up and it was loaded aboard. there are vans etc going around picking up anything they may be able to make some money out of. the spot bazaar would have probably given you a few lira for it but their shop is ubp now so don't know if they moved or closed down.

Yes and beware of those vans as the bins aren't the only place they look for items to make money on. Anything they can get out of your garden easily is also fair game!
