Hello, All

I'd really appreciate information on photo labs where films can be processed. I'll be relocating to the TRNC in August and one of my big concerns is the quality/availability/cost (being compared to US/UK) of films & processing. I hope there are some die-hard film users on the island!

Cheers.

Hi

There are loads of photography shops in Kyrenia. The oldest is Yucel. I am not sure of the prices. Probably better, cheaper and quicker than in UK!

I suppose some do use the old analogue cameras but how many? The trouble with processing of films is that the solutions cannot be kept for long. Thus some shops may have stopped dealing with old films. I am only guessing.

i was told when i bought my film of 40 aps that it would cost arount 25tl for the middle size pictures, if i used the big size i would be charged more but i haven't finished it yet to go back but would imagine the prices may have gone up as everything else seems to. i think that was a yucel shop near the HSBC bank. i've always found the quality here though very good.

No idea if it's still there but a couple of years ago a shop about half way down the main Kyrenia street, harbour side had a Kodak minilab.
