Good luck in your new life. Just out of curiosity, I see you are a very young lady (well, years younger than most of us old codgers). What are your plans when you come to TRNC, regarding working, etc. Or are you lucky enough just to take it easy and enjoy?

Thanks again... I will be working (haven't won the lottery yet!),

It seems to be a case of who you know rather than what you know out there (my mum has been job hunting on my behalf as well as for her) and most people have been really helpful jobwise. Luckily something has come up, only temporary but it's a start. My mum and step-dad have a place out there and already live in TRNC so her spreading the word has helped.

Fingers crossed it will all go to plan!

how lovely to read a thread with over 20 hits and not one negative. Thats more like it! I wish you all the very very best. Life is what you make it, and with the present economic climate, far better to have a little sunshine in your life. I don't post that often because of all the whingeing and whining that sometimes appears on this board. I think there are some truly lovely people on here, but most threads get hi-jacked by the negative people. You have a lovely life ahead of you, and I hope to be posting a thread similar to your original in the not too distant future.
