The only super league derby that involves two teams from the same city kicks off @1pm friday the 10th of April.Why do i get myself in such a state on derby eve.Every year i say to myself its only a game and every year the butterflies kick in around three days before the game.I dread these bloody games and sometimes wish that we where in National league one.

I know where your coming from... I get the heebys before every Arbroath - Montrose derby game. 321 punters whipping up an unbelievable atmosphere before and during the match then there is the famous half-time prize draw of a £10 Ann Summers voucher and a crate of the worlds finest smokies. Yep.. like you I just keep telling myself its only a game.

We just made it, not a great game but good to get another over the pies. Saints had some hard games over the past weeks so may play some of the young ones against Hull on Monday. Good luck to HKR today.

Like paul says derby games are one offs my heart says hull my mind says rovers are playing better at the moment and will just have to much for them,

Hi paul,

As i suspected rovers just to good for them not much in it though, thought hull played a lot better in the second half two good defensive displays rovers just had that bit more class more idea in attack, enjoyed it.

Another win at the K.F.C. warms the cockles of my heart.I thought that Rovers over the 80 minutes where by far the better side,and it would have been an injustice if the second best proffessional rugby league team in Hull had stolen the game.Why do our friends from accross the river persist with Craig Hall at full back when the kid obviously isnt suited to the position.



I thought that Englands no1 (Shaun Briscoe) was outstanding today and staked his claim for the England jersey.Peter Fox also proved trhat he isthe best winger in super league with a tremendous display.No relegation Hull must be rubbing their hands ,when the red red robin,etc.

Dont think relegation would be a problem for hull this year anyway,never got the chance to watch bradford v leeds, we were rammed in H&H last night.

Nothing in the tank today for Rovers.These easter fixtures are crazy in my opinion.Huddersfield deserved their victory though.Both rugby teams go down and also the football team,
