I am looking for a 4 wheel drive vehicle, somthing like freelander or Vitara on cyprus plates & taxes paid. I will be in Cyprus from 16th April.

I know of a 5 door Mitsubushi Pajero (smaller size) for sale. Its 2002 1.8i model, automatic. Taxed and MOT. Regularly serviced, very clean car.



The owner will be out of the country from the 16th, but can arrange to show you if you are interested?

Freelander is expensive - instance - Bought mine last year (2000 model petrol) in really good condition with only 42K miles on the clock (true mileage as well) but it cost me £12.500 from the main dealer!



Tax is around 1000TL a year so you need to add that on to your price as well unless you can find one taxed. Watch out for the petrol engines as they will all blow the head gasket at some time or another - mine went at 44K miles and cost me £950.00 to have it repaired and the new, tried and trusted, head gasket fitted so now it is as good as new again.



I guess when I sell this one I will get around £10,500/£11,500 now or probably £8,500 in another three years - this means that like all cars they do hold their price very well. Vitara costs are also expensive if you want a good one under 10 years old.
