Hello Ismet I am looking for a large portable Gazebo and looked in your Daughters Shop this morning. She showed me the catalogue and the largest one is spot on and comes in at 930 TL. I have to tell you that exactly the same one, plus fitting, is on sale at the shop next to K Pet in Karakum for 780TL. I would like to give your Daughter my business but cannot afford to pass up on 150TL, thats very nearly 70 bottles of Effes!!! Best Regards Tony

HH Sorry for hijacking your thread, But I cannot believe you are going to pay all that dosh for a gazebo. We bought two last year from Carrefour, excellent quality, with all the trimmings for less than the money you have quoted. So why not have a trip over the South to price them up. Nick

I sold a few to the south in the past, so I don't think the same quality gazebos are any cheaper in the south. I import them directly from China and the only difference is that I pay about 50% more for the freight than the south because our cargo goes through Mersin. ismet

Carrefore gazebos not bad quality complete with curtains and mossie type nets for 149 Euro's - over the limit I know. However, I am told that if you as then Carrefore will give you a sales receipt for 135 Euro's! Still not got one and will wait till the sales in Sept, last year they went down to 99 Euro's and that would have made them totaly legal unless they class as furniture of course.

Ismet Before posting yesterday I had been to the shop next to K Pet and was quoted 780tl for the large Gazebo. I then drove down to your Daughters shop and was told it was 930tl. I could have bought it at 780 but instead informed you of the price difference. This morning I went back to the K Pet shop and 'Lo and Behold' the price had increased to 950tl ! Price fixing by you? if so I dont like it and have decided against buying from either shops on principle. Tony

Tony, I don't fix anything. As far as voltage regulators and my outlets are concerned I give them all a certain fixed discount. They are free to sell it retail at higher or lower prices than me and I don't mind. Some people come to me directly and tell me that my agent is giving him a discount on the retail price and I tell them to buy it where ever they find it cheaper but as a matter of principle I am not competing with my own agents. I import some items like gazebos and bar stools solely for my daughter and I give it to her at cost price in dollars. She is free to fix her price and also free to decide on the discount she gives to her agents. I am not interfering with her commercial principles in any way. Some may complain that the same product are sold at different prices at different shops and some like you complain that its same price everywhere and you are against price fixing. So whichever way, some will always complain. ismet
