Wow!!!!!!!! for those unfamiliar with this restaurant ( on road to Merit Hotel on left hand side , small hotel and restaurant ) you MUST go.

Yet again another lovely meal, cold meze and 3 hot meze to start , huge menu selection , baklava, fruit, coffee and brandy all in the price.

Dishes start at 15tl ( for veggie options ) - 30 tl ( and that price includes all of the above )

We had 4 main courses, served with all the trimmings , 1 beer, 1 glass wine, a 1/2 bottle Raki ( 35cl ) 2 large waters ( free ), 128 tl

Too good not to go!!!!!!

Excellent service, cant wait til its outdoor dining as the garden is beautiful

We've been going there for years, always good food and excellent service. Lovely family run establishment where nothing is too much trouble. Summer evenings in the garden area are always fabulous, really looking forward to visiting soon.

Hi airy fairy and Hattikins - can't believe we've never visited in all these years - just down the road from us really. Have heard many good reports about it.

Would you suggest pre-booking - we'll be there in June??

Many thanks

J

Hi Cooper

From the Golden Lady junction turn right on to the main road, after about 50 yds take the left turn signposted The Merit Hotel, Tervetuloa Hote is on your left about 20 yds down the road. You will not be disappointed !

Jean,

It's almost on your doorstep, shame on you for not visiting, it really is a beautiful place, summer evenings, roll on, see you there perhaps.

I had been to this restaurant on 2 previous occasions & couldn't wait to take my mum, sister & niece when they came over. Oh dear... My mums kleftico was a lump of lukewarm, grey fat, she only managed to get 2 mouthfuls of meat off it. My lamb on the tile was unedible. Hard lumps of tough gristle, I didn't even manage to get one mouthful! I was mortified as I had been singing it's praises all day. I called over the owners daughter but she was totally unhelpful & even argued with my sister! There was another lady & gentleman at another table & she had the lamb on the tile too & hadn't found one single piece of lamb she could eat. The owner's daughter just walked back inside the restaurant, no apology, no offer of something else from the menu. We paid & left. I don't know if they had a different chef on that night or if it was because it was out of season & the meat was old but will not be going back again.

I agree with niiftyduo, miamax, give them another chance. We've been there

more than anywhere else, sometimes 10 of us. Everyone has been delighted.

Your experience must have been a one off. I 'spose we all have our bad days.

This restaurant is excellent, whatever you do, do not order a starter! As said in msg 1, everything is included. We ordered 2 courses and ended up with a large takeaway for the following day.

Food, service and price all superb and i am sorry to hear that mia100max had such a bad experience but if you can find in yourselves to give them another chance, please do so.
