I'm rather suspicious that you are looking for a cement mixer too - are you planning a goat sculpture for your garden. Anyway, I don't know how much a goat is worth but I do know how many goats I'm worth - 8 plus!! Try this yourself: http://www.howmanygoats.com/

Put it this way if you accidentally run over one of their precious Goats you will to pay the farmer compensation how much he would have made if it had not been killed that could run in to hundreds. This happened to some one in the south a few years ago now but Goats are their pay packet so i can understand why.

HA HA HA thanks to everyone for their contributions, all had me in stitches..but I still dont know )) £70 for a whole butchered lamb tho is less than 200tl so a goat has to be cheaper, thanks Turtle. The cement mixer is for slabbing the garden, but I suppose I could take up goat sculpture in my spare time lol..you guys crack me up

a friend of ours has sheep. last year they were costing a fortune to feed and producing very little milk. he decided to sell some and was offered very small money. the butcher is a very rich man! buys it for sod all then charges the earth for it! i guess goats follow the same rules, if your selling its worth nothing and if your buying its super expensive.

Goat similar to mutton but slightly sweeter and needs to be cooked in a similar manner, very slowly over a gentle heat for a long period. Arga very good but the best is a Hangi! Traditional Maori method of cooking in the ground. Talk to me kindly and I'll do one for you! Richard
