Dear Izzet, please implement a button "down to last message" at the top of a thread.

Scrolling down each long thread - to check what's new - is really annoying.

DC

You don't want 'down to last message',.... if there have been 30 new ones since you last looked, you will have to scroll back up again!

You want 'New messages' since you last accessed the thread.

=> Thanks for that, cronos. But this doesn't work on my Macintosh keyboard. OK, I'll try ALL keys first..., before I repeat my kind request...

Ha! All Mac users: attention! On a Mac keyboard press "fn" (left) and "end" (right). Stiil, basically a good tip by cronos!

You can always go into your profile (edit member information) and change the way posts are displayed. Click on "Show newest post first", rather than the default, which is "show newest post last". Simple.

=> Thanks, rowlo -- a Mac mouse has only one button (since 1982 or so...).

RE msg 17, petez > CTRL and click will do a right click on a mac Dutch <

=> Nope. I run a special program (only partly to do with browsing) and the key combination is "ctrl-mouse click".

I never needed it before, but some searching gives me these possibilities:

fn (left of the keyboard) + end = to the bottom of the thread

fn + home = to the top of the thread

fn + once page up = one page to the top of the thread

fn + once page down = one page to the bottom of the thread

Maybe other Mac users didn't know this and find it helpful.

Re msg 19, Izzet: I knew your tip, Izzet. But I'm quite happy with reading threads downwards. Thanks anyway!
