The famous poster 'Take Courage' ale advertisement for Courage Best has been banned as it infers 'Dutch courage' to talk to the opposite sex which could lead to alcohol abuse?! What a nanny State!!

Absolutely ridiculous.

I suppose they'll ban the Chocolate Fudge advert, when they sing..."a finger of fudge is just enough....."

Meaning of course that a single finger of fudge has not yet been proven to contain the correct amount of approved additives in accord with EU directive 34-17/2003 Fudge (trade name applied for) Single Bar 4gr.

There can have been no other meaning than that unless it was a warning that more than a single finger would rot teeth in the under 5's, increase weight gain in the over 30's and of course be partly responsible for raising the carbon footprint above all over 65's.

There is nothing wrong with the EU - provided it stays where it is!

I've heard of 'fudging' the books and a 'finger' in every pie but who's cooking your goose tonight?

They're also pulling the Burger King Texican Whopper advert after Mexico complained that it degraded their flag.

Advert is available to view on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwpNQWrD8PY&feature=related

Story about it being pulled see: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/22/20090415/tod-oukoe-uk-mexico-burgerking-d987f7f.html

It's the world of Political Correctness gone mad AGAIN! Last time it was Heinz Deli Mayo and their gay couple kiss.

As an alien from outer space, I found the Cadbury's Smash adverts most insulting and an offence to my [inhuman] rights............................................

I wonder what 'Kevin bloody Wilson' would have made of those clips, and what songs it would have inspired him to write?

I'm sorry Lilli, it's a hard life coming from Mars. First, Cadbury's take the p#ss out of aliens like me- assuming that I would consider eating reconstituted potato [or whatever it is], and secondly, every time I ask a human "take me to your leader", I get introduced to a "Mr" Gordon Brown.

I know there is intelligent life on Earth, but I am only visiting......................
