When posting a link from Cyprus Mail, http://www.cyprus-mail.com/news/ you need to do the following:

Make sure that you have a list of articles that you can choose to read, you need the "News" tab, not the "Front Page" tab. Also, it won't work if you're reading the whole article.

Then, right-click on the "view article".

Then, click "properties".

Then highlight the "Address (URL)".

Then, copy (Ctrl + C) the highlighted text and then find your posting and paste, (Ctrl + V) into your posting.

A little respect may go a long way Juliet, whatever your thoughts may be this gentleman is President Talat and it would do no harm to refer to him as such. You always let yourself down with your hostile attitude, is that a sign of how other Greek Cypriots will treat TC,s should there be a solution ?

Just read you own posts Juliet, do you not detect a note of scorn whenever you mention anything/anyone from TRNC, what did John Lennon say, Give Peace a Chance.

I am sick and tired of hearing, reading, listening to 'The Solution'. One would think it's a matter of life or death waiting for the 'FINAL' one. I've been here for ten years and there has been zero headway except for ministers having 'jollies' abroad on the non existent Treasury coffers under the pretext of...........?'having a good time whilst still in office'!

maybe your last comment of give "peace a chance" should be directed at some of the posters on this BB.... again have you not read the rude comments aimed at me? i want a fair solution for all cypriots hattikins, but many on here show some real anger at anything to do with gcs.... i wonder why... lets hope Mr T & Mr k can speak to Mrs C without insulting one another...

Hi Juliet I dont often post on your threads as I dont know enough about the whole situation. I do however have friends from both sides and beleive me being Irish and living through the times there I do understand. Im sure that both gentlemen will show her the respect she deserves and will be in awe of her. We all want a lasting solution for Cyprus. I really dont beleive that anybody who relocated here either side would want to be drawn into a political arena. I hope as Hatti says that they do give Peace a chance. After all these two can have the world stage as thier finale . Take care Juliet xxxxxxx

Insults are taken very seriously here, especially when the name of the President of the TRNC is used in a derogatory way. We have seen enough of that on the Cyprus Forum BB. Please desist.

hi musin m i feel your pain also. i only wish it could happen. i just get a feeling that some so will prevail. As I said we did not move here to be embroilled in any polotics in fact we moved against our own. Mus i lived here in 1956 when my dad god rest his soul was in the army here. Its all been so long. I understand your anger and frustration and i beleive in you. They may never accept an olive branch but as sure as god made apples they will acccept money. I love this place and long may it continue and in peace xxxxxxxxxxx

your right it does go beyond money, it`s all about being taken over by people that dont belong here who are living & working in properties that don`t belong to them... the tcs need to able to live & work amongst all cypriots (as some all ready do) & not be told what to do by other interferring countrys.(turkey)

I hope Mrs C gives MrT & MrK some helpful advice for a just solution for all cypriots.

I don't think it's that simple.

Both Christofias & Talat have been touring the world lobbying, or seeking councel, from international 'advisors/friends'.

It's not an insular problem, it's of strategic international importance.

The major powers, US, EU, Nato, UN etc, all have a vested interest in any 'resolution'. I bet the Soviet States are keeping an eye on events as well.

Remember that the first country East of the Bosphorus that Obama visited was Turkey.

The 'local' issues are probably way down the list!

As with you and me, Christofias & Talat are merely pawns in a game.

I agree, the international community have and agenda, and the "local" issues will be addressed and thier will be an agreement made eventually but to who's benefit??
