Carpenters is in Karaoglanoglu, (look for the signs) close to the Fatisa Supermarket.

How is the Carpenters going? I havent been there for awhile and wondered whether there were more stalls etc than say last October? I am coming out shortly and I love markets - they say in UK that the market will take over from shops for bargains, not so many overheads, and more competitive prices therefore with the economic downturn currently upon us, we should all be shopping and looking for value for money.



I see that you say lots of new stalls - I must get there and have a look!

10 am to 1pm now in summer, was 12pm in winter but think it has changed!

I love the pie man stall! Home made pies, ready to be heated up in the oven in 15 mins, really delicious! I am veggie and get the curry veggie pie..it is amazing! There is also another food stall that does excellent home made honey & marmalades, fresh eggs etc! There are other stalls selling cheap books, dvds, summer hats, dog biscuits all kinds of things really, I went last week, not huge but ok for a little wander...Saturday moring at 'Chateau Lambousa' is much bigger.
