Hi Mick,

welcome to the forum, we have bought in constantine, going out in march also, cant wait, we've never been, but hear its lovely. Have you already reserved, cos looking at the web site, there arent any left in augustus? Also we are using an independant solicitor, if you need his contact details?

Hi mick, i've bought in Augustus, it's a great place with excellent sea views and nice roof terrace ! I was there in December and in my opionion you cant go wrong at caesars. I am using the resort solicitor, but not sure how much they charge as managed to negotiate them paying the fees !!

Without wishing to put a damper on you all but I'd be very wary of using a solicitor who is also acting for the builder as they will not be acting in your favour if anything goes wrong, guaranteed. You should always use a separate one as you would in the UK.

Karen,

In light of current issues with solicitors, I would be very careful who you use full stop.

Mick,

Well done on asking advice from this forum. Before you commit to purchase, I would strongly advise taking Karens advice re solicitor and spending some time (it could save you much time, money and tears) reading the many threads on this website forum and the home buyers action group website http://www.hbpg-trnc.net .

hi jamie012002 , i dont think it is aimed at caesar resort , what martin is suggesting { i think } is that you do your research research research , you cant do enough , and read everything you can about the place , as it should be anywhere you are thinking of purchasing . and then you can make your informed choice , people are here to open your mind to things that perhaps you are not aware of and to help you , we have so much knowledge between us , also we all have agreat love for nc . so if we can help pevent any unpleasantness that has got to be a plus , has'nt it eh . we bought in the bogaz area 6 yrs ago and had no problems at all , but there are also some people that have . take all the advice you can

good luck simbas

hello I've just returned again from Famagusta, been to Caesar Resort it's looking better each time I've been there which has been once every month for the past 4 months.

I don't believe that there are any more apartments available in Augustus from what I was told and also seen on their webpage, which I notice is regularly updated, again from first hand sight and watching progress it's very interesting. I've never gone there announced, yet there are always a hive of workers, worth owning in that development for sure location is great and facilities will be wonderful
