There are now lots of garden centres both east and west of Girne so you should be able to get what you want quite easily

Hi Simma

Another person who we've found useful is the guy who owns Green Island Garden Centre on the main road just before the power station. He will deliver free of charge and will also bring a huge drill thing to dig the holes to plant the trees.

Eminaga garden centre, just off kyrenia-nicosia main road, as you come off the new flyover towards nicosia. They have green sign posts along the rd, they are a main dealer for all sorts of trees and plants.

Not: dont bring plants from the greek side because its illegal. The customs will take them off you and destroy them.

Don't buy big... they will get that way soon enough... big costs a lot more and doesn't guarantee success.

If you want low maintenance plants that don't require a lot of watering come and talk to us... (you stayed next door to us so you know where we are)... Gavin and Eileen
