Great idea Pink. What sort of things will you bring over and if they carry a customs duty on them, how will you sort that?

Hi guys. No company name!!! Address in UK to be forwarded soon. PRIVATELY. I believe that there is a loophole in the system. I will not go into too many details, just that here are some clues. Many people are going back to the UK, some are going via the South, Pyla crossing! Who says that only containers, shipped via Mersin, can bring in personal items? Regarding customs duty: All new items will be re-packaged at my end!!! Enough said. Costs, either by weight, or volume, or a % of the cost. Give me a few days. As most of the profit is made going TRNC to UK, costs will be reasonable. Pet food will be top of the list. One minor problem, you will not be able to claim that these items are for export outside EU and therefore claim a VAT refund. Sorry. Things like Dysons are perfect. You don't pay delivery until you have items. Don't worry about Customs.

Regarding Electronic equipment such as TV's, regardless of whether new or used they still have duty to be paid upon them wherever they enter the country. There's a good chance that you vehicle will be searched on the way in and if they decide you are liable for duty you'll need to pay there and then or have it confiscated until you do pay it, or after a period of time it is sold, or reappropiated. Your theories on custom hold some water, but beware that if they log everything on ins and outs. If they smell a rat, they'll cause you big trouble.
