Hello!

My fiance needs new plain black shoes for work that must be very comfortable and fairly reasonable, does anyone know a good shop in Girne or around?

Thanks!

One of the biggest selections and most reasonable prices, I have found to be Önders in Lefkoşa. Its on the main hospital (road), quite a way up. Big department store on the right, it sells everything!!!

There is a small shoe shop opposite the Dome Hotel (near the FX place) in Girne who had some well priced mens shoes. I bought some good hand made brogues from Turkey for about 90 YTL.

I think you've all been very 'casual' with your responses. Stop 'loafing' around or she'll 'boot' you all in to touch. )

Glad you got sorted NatAless I was also going to recommend the guy across from the Dome.

I know a few people who have gone to him and have been very happy. If you bring in a pair of shoes you already have and like, he will make you a pair the same

I used that guy opposite the Dome. He made me a pair of casual loafers a few years ago. Not bad quality either. Although the stitching came undone along the front I took them back and he soon restitched it.
