Wonder if they bought of Mr Robb. God if this is true wonder what the outcome will be for the Ormans. I dont think they would b stupid enough to buy in an unregonized country. They prefer freebies anyway

Comments on the article:

1/ The European Court of Justice is due to rule ( Apr 28th 2009) on the Orams' case - NOT the European Court of Human Rights

2/ IF the rumour re the payment being dishonoured was untrue - would not the payee have "backed" up the client by a straight denial?

3/ If the apartments are owned by the Blairs - I hope they are on land whose title / ownership is not in dispute.... If the Apr 28th ECJ decision is for the GC plaintiff, Ms Booth and her hubbie - if the rumours of ownership are true - might expect a writ, themselves... !

Seems a little too incredible - surely.. but this IS Cyprus !

My thoughts exactly hattikins......self-serving , self-satisfied , self-important freeloaders.

Sorry to sound sceptical about this however it sounds like another Cyprus rumour.

Does anyone remember the Richard Branson one, the Abramovich rumour, the new marina which is due to get built not far from YOUR house and all sorts of other rumours over the years?

Funny how they are now viewed by some as "self-serving and self important freeloaders" however when Cherie Blair was representing the Orams at court she was a "hero".

I would take this as a pinch of salt like all the other ones above.

Hi Stubs you are so right. According to cyprus today the marina authorties turned Richard Gere away as his yatch was too big. What a missed opportunity for some great touristic PR. Yeah right.

Juliet

Whilst I understand your frustrations she was representing a UK citizen in a UK court.

I dont think anyone can make any further comments on the Orams case which has not already been said.
