| The Cyprus Times refers to an Alsancak municipal spokesperson, who said, that they had the power to double water and electricity bills for 10 years, for anybody who doesn't have a title deed
Marian Stokes is going to raise this issue with the governments office |

| also, apparently last week, Lapta householders were notified that they will see a 500% increase in their water bills. This has been put on hold after a protest. |
