Please ensure you take your passport with the little address book when visiting Historical and other sites and buildings run by the said Department. Show them at the entrance office when purchasing tickets for yourself and your visiting friends and the student/local rate is charged. They do check and it does make quite a saving especially when visiting three different locations in one day!

And I was told that you can visit ALL of the attractions shown on the ticket, for just the one fee! - Don't throw the ticket away...

Can anyone else confirm this?

RE msg 2, Keith > And I was told that you can visit ALL of the attractions shown on the ticket, for just the one fee! - Don't throw the ticket away... <

=> I don't think so, Keith. It would mean that you can visit any attraction (say: St Hilarion, Kantara, Bellapais etc etc) the rest of your life for free. On the other hand - this exiting government has made laws that are even more ridiculous...

You can visit the Girne Castle and get free entry to the Folklore museum by showing your ticket, but at the moment the folklore museum is having a re-furb so is closed for a while.
