Is there an honest estate agent in trnc ??

Last Saturday the 19th of april about 15 people were in jessics Lapta one group they were estate agents and their wives / partners.

When they came in the proprietor Mustafa left his Samsung telephone on a table and went to serve the group they were good customers and as the night progressed Mustafa never gave a thought to his telephone and it’s precious contents ….. the said group paid and left a good time was had by all.

How ever one of the group picked up Mustafa’s phone !!

He tried to call the phone but the sim card has been removed Mustafa does have the ims number … but this it is in England once this is received the phone can be traced to within a few meters .

Is there an honest estate agent in trnc ??

Please return the phone it contains valuable personal information and contacts that can not be replaced we know estate agents are SOMETIMES ALL TARRED WITH THE SAME BRUSH.

The legal process in the TRNC makes it impossible for them to be honest. If they were honest they would be saying do not purchase until you have your PTP, rather than saying it is a formality. They would be informing buyers that they cannot purchase near an army base instead of showing such properties to prospective buyers. They would tell the truth about the real meaning of exchange title and inform people not to buy Pre 74 Turkish Title as it is difficult to get a PTP on this particular deed.

But.......how would you ever get a sale if you told the truth?

The headline and story bare little to do with each other, only that it is possible that one of the party in the estate agents group may have stolen the phone. There is no direct link, or evidence, from the writings of littlenige that the estate agents group had anything to do with this crime, unless of course that the only people who were in the bar that night were the estate agents. This scenario I find difficult to believe at such a popular bar as Jessics.

So, were they the only people in the bar that night?

How come I don't see a mad rush to defend the 'is there an honest estate agent' issue (ignoring who nicked the phone)? Was I alone in laughing at the question? Someone will be asking if there is an honest lawyer in NC next!

Just report it to the police and they will catch the user as soon as he starts using the phone in TRNC. Even if the sim card is removed the phone does send out its imei number which is unique and thus it can be traced very easily. This is how the telephone mugs are often caught here.

I have to say that when we sold in the UK our estate agent was great. When we bought here, the agent we used was, again, great. However, now that we are selling it's a different story.

Waste of time.

Nige

Not sure what action you are hoping to prompt. You are not expecting someone to try and flog a dead horse by any chance, I mean by that say that there is one?

Stringer Estates , used to be highly reccomended, but they have gone quite recently, Why is this ? and why have the Stringers themselves taken a back seat ??

I was hoping the estate agent or his wife or her husband would see the thread have an ounce of compassion and return the phone to mustafa.

There are some numbers in the phone that are quite important to him personally.
