Hi Laurie and welcome.

When we shipped ours over few years ago we were told not to pack anything in original boxes as it will look like brand new items so will be charged import duty. I understand the rules have now been relaxed and as long as it's for personal use then there is no import duty to pay (this needs to be confirmed though).

Olaytrans appear to be a very efficient firm to ship your items over. If you read http://www.garyandchris.co.uk/Diary_Nov_2007.htm. Gary Weston cannot rate them highly enough.

We used a local agent called Sadik who did literally everything for us. Sadik is based in Karakum and if you want his number please let me know.

Hi Lisa

Yes of course. Sadik's number is 00905428511101 and his e-mail is serene@analiz.net . His premises are on the right hand side of the main road in Karakum just past Aladin's cave heading towards Catalkoy. Can't for the life of me think of his surname I know it begins with a T.
