A person who relies on inner wisdom is sometimes susceptible to vulnerable possibilities that are not yet desensitized.

Hope you all have a great day.

Not a bad thing mate many working men could never afford to own thier own home until that was brought in.

local councils fault for not using the revenue generated to build new housing stocks.

The Saints..Council houses were never intended to be sold to the tenents. Most of the council homes around us are occupied by families where more than one person is working and at least 2 cars outside which says to me that those people can afford a house of their own and let the house be used for what it was intended, the less well off.I bought my own house in 1968 on a 100% mortgage so this thing about working men not being able to afford there own homes is a bit thin for my liking. They were soon selling them after a couple of years at twice the price they paid for them, and moving into better properties. That was when you saw people who had been labour voters suddenly become tory voters overnight..People have very short memories and are very fickle at times, cast a minnow to catch a mackerel springs to mind. Why should the council spend the money to build more lower cost housing, just so they can be bought buy their tenents.Should have used it to offer people mortgages at the going rate.

I thought the Government put a stop on the 'right to buy' a few years ago.
