Can anybody tell us if Strongbow or other ciders are available we have booked a villa for 2 weeks in Kyrenia in September for our 20th wedding anniversary which is our first visit to Northern Cyprus and i usually carry cans with me when holidaying in Turkey as we cannot get it out there where as Southern Cyprus it is readily avilable any info would be appreciated as it is my wifes favourite tipple and after all for putting up with me for this long she deserves it many thanks Steve & Lisa

Yes go to tempos, but hurry it don't last long, this is the first time for at least 6months 3.5 ytl a large can.

Welcome to the board.

Most of the large supermarkets (Lemar, Supreme, Tempo etc) stock Cider but am not sure if it's strongbow. Dry Blackthorn is definitely available.

Where are you staying??

There are a couple of bars that i know of in Lapta area that sell Strongbow, Bulmers and Magners!

Fourth Hi Authentichoccie we are arriving 10/09/2008 for our 20th wedding celebration ( well im celebrating not so sure about Lisa ) perhaps the Cider will help , we have rented a private villa i think its quite close to Kyrenia and its on its own website called http://www.bexame.com as for Lapta and surrounding areas its all going to be new to us so any info is very much appreciated thanks

And finally Tiggy 2 you have a very good point there but without that problem where would i be probably single so lets just say it will be over 20 years in September .

Thanks again all never been to North Cyprus although we have been many times to Turkey our favourite being the Fethyie area which includes Overcick , Hisaronu and Olu Deniz , and we have visited Protaras and Paphos areas in South Cyprus a few times but if Kyrenia proves to be as friendly as the forum it wont be our only visit as i feel we have stumbled accross something a bit special and not even arrived THANKS ALL
